Fee Update
IELTS Registration Fee — ₹19,000 from April 2026
IDP India increased the IELTS exam fee from ₹18,000 to ₹19,000 with effect from 1 April 2026. If you are booking your test from April onwards — which most candidates reading this will be — the fee you will pay is ₹19,000. This applies uniformly to both the Academic and General Training modules, at all three Kerala centres.
The fee covers the complete test: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking, all completed in a single visit. There are no separate charges for individual modules under standard registration.

IELTS Computer-Based Sessions in Kerala
For the computer-delivered IELTS, IDP Kerala centres offer up to two sessions per day — a Morning Session and an Afternoon Session — depending on the centre. When you select a date on the IDP booking portal, the sessions available for that day are displayed for you to choose from.
Available at centres that have higher capacity or run two sessions daily. In Kerala, a morning session is offered at Trivandrum – Kumarapuram and Calicut – Malaparamba. How to Book Your IELTS in Kerala — Step by Step

Go to the official IDP India website and click Book a Test. Select IELTS on Computer as your test format.
Select Academic (for university admission or professional registration) or General Training (for migration to Canada, Australia, UK, etc.). Check your institution or visa category requirements before selecting.
Choose Kerala as your state, then select your preferred centre — Kochi, Trivandrum – Kumarapuram, or Calicut – Malaparamba. Enter your details exactly as they appear on your valid passport. Upload a passport-size photo and a scanned copy of your passport. Name mismatches can lead to denial of entry on test day.

After the Test
IELTS Computer-Based Results — When & How to Check
One of the biggest advantages of the computer-delivered IELTS is the speed of results. Unlike the paper-based test which takes up to 13 days, computer-based results are typically ready within 1 to 5 days after your test date.
IDP sends you an email when your results are published — usually within 1 to 5 days of your test date.
Visit ieltsidpindia.com and log in using your passport number, date of birth, and test date. Your band scores for all four skills will appear on your dashboard.
The online result is provisional. Your official TRF — required by universities and visa authorities — is dispatched by post within 1–5 days of the online result being published.
If You Want to Improve Your Score
If your result falls short of what you need, you have two routes. You can apply for an Enquiry on Results (EOR) to have your test re-marked by a senior examiner. Or, if only one skill band is holding you back, you may be eligible for the IELTS One Skill Retake (OSR) — which lets you resit just that one section at a reduced cost, without repeating the entire test. OSR must be booked within 60 days of your original test date.
